Shooting has been my primary passion since childhood, with revolvers and leverguns always taking priority. Later came the blackpowder revolvers and rifles. I first became interested in leather work in the mid-`90's when I made my first set of suede sand bags. I piddled with small projects and then in 2011 I decided to start getting serious. I began researching heavily, online and in print. Including traditional gunleather and Native American beadwork. Put together a makeshift shop in a spare room with a handful of tools but a truckload of enthusiasm and began crafting holsters, blackpowder hunting pouches and heavy duty gunbelts. In 2013, this has blossomed into a part time business with a focus on traditional gunleather, accessories and eventually blackpowder hunting pouches and Native American beadwork. My holsters are all hand-made with traditional materials and high quality 8-9oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. All stitching is done by hand. We use all manner of methods to color our leather from water, spirit and oil based dyes to older methods such as vinegaroon and traditional walnut dyes. For our beadwork, we use modern Czech beads as well as antique French, Italian and German beads. All finish work, buffing, burnishing and edge finishing are done by hand.
